Last week I have started working on the exhibition that will be held in Hjo-Sweden at the end of May this year. The contract is signed and now I am working on the texts and the new pictures ment to this partly new exhibition. I will continue update you with informations.
Today’s photograph will be part of it. It’s called MUSICAL TIMELINE and it shows Karl that is one with the Music. Music has been there since his childhood. Come and read his own text at the exhibition.
Karl attented this year one of my lectures on Just People in a local photo club. He contacted me last week and asked if I was still looking for people to photograph.
We met in the beginning of this week and talked about his passion for Music and how music brings back memories of the good old time when you were young. I can reflect myself into that picture too, because it is exactly how I was back then, with my LP player sitting on the floor.
2 weeks ago I participated to Another Contest this time in France. And yes, of 4 Pictures one of them god accepted.
Here you will see the complete Picture of “A RED CARNATION FOR YOU”. 70 year Young Bruno loves Theatre, playing piano and the working class.
A glimps of happiness and Music feeling.
It’s amazing how I can feel after have taken a new picture for this amazing thrilling project that is making me more and more proud.
2 days, 2 new pictures, 2 wonderful persons that I had the opportunity to portrait. 2 photoshoots that will remain firmly in my mind for the rest of my life.
We start with a viking, a person that loves history. Tony loves to think and share himself to others through his amazing voice. But in the picture he will be “The thinker”.
And today it was a young man aged 19, Adrian that is entirely devoted to music, where he finds his peace and strenght.
To talk with dancers is always fascinating. Just turn on the music, their body move. They don’t even realize it!
It’s amazing. It’s so gentle and elegant. They put a smile on their face and it seems they are far away from us.
This morning it was one of this meeting that made the next picture for the book. Rythm in the background and
the picture was easily born.
I am thrilled av all attention that I got during the vernissage. Over 100 persons came and looked at the pictures and the texts of these wonderful people.
Drinks, food, live music with gitarrist Thomas Andersson completed the evening. Lovely weather outside (for once not raining) made it easier to walk and
visit many places in Goteborg that night. Here some of the vernissage pictures:
